Dr. Rene J. Alvarez is an Advanced Heart Failure And Transplant Cardiology Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is affiliated with Jefferson Health-Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. He received his medical degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He has more than 30 years of diverse experiences, especially in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, cardiovascular disease cardiology. He also speaks multiple languages, including Spanish.
