Biography

Dr. Gustafson has been a physiatrist for over 15 years. She received her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and did a Fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. Prior to Jefferson, she was the Director of the Medically Complex and Spinal Cord Injury Services at the Penn Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine and Assistant Professor of PMR at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine. At Jefferson, she served as the attending PM&R physician for the medically complex patients. She currently is an Associate Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College.  She is board certified in Spinal Cord Injury and Brain Injury Medicine.
