Biography
Dr. Pribitkin is an Executive Vice President at Jefferson Health, Philadelphia’s fastest growing provider of health care services with 14 hospitals and over 40 outpatient and urgent care locations accounting for more than 3.8 million annual visits. He leads the Jefferson Medical Group, which is comprised of over 2500 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Dr. Pribitkin aligns and promotes strategies for the success of both the Jefferson ambulatory care enterprise and Jefferson’s hospital network. As an innovator and collaborative team builder, Dr. Pribitkin works closely with clinicians to enrich programs at Jefferson that provide state-of-the art diagnosis and treatment, while creating important opportunities for clinical and translational research. He engages affiliated physician groups to ensure mutual success in the evolving healthcare market and directs service line leaders and chairs in designing and developing comprehensive physician recruitment and retention strategies. Dr. Pribitkin is also the physician lead for enterprise Value Analysis. During his quarter century at Jefferson, Dr. Pribitkin has served as a residency program director, academic vice chair, President of Jefferson University Physicians and the Chief Medical Officer for Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. A recipient of the Jefferson Career Achievement in Medicine Award and the Dean’s Outstanding Clinician Award, Dr. Pribitkin is regularly listed as one of Philadelphia’s Top Docs by Philadelphia magazine and one of America’s Top Docs by Castle & Connolly. Dr. Pribitkin is a professor at Thomas Jefferson University, where he co-founded the Jefferson Thyroid and Parathyroid Center, the first multi-disciplinary center of its kind in the region. He received his medical degree from the Perelman Medical School at the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from The Wharton School.
