The Temple Lung Center is a destination for patients with serious lung problems, and is one of the largest lung hospitals and pulmonary surgery centers in the nation.

Temple Neurosciences Center

The Temple Neurosciences Center is one of the most advanced facilities for the treatment of neurological disorders.

Neurologists, neurosurgeons and interventional neuroradiologists work together to use the latest protocols and state-of-the-art equipment to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for the full range of neurological problems, including a Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and Movement Disorders Program, primary and metastatic brain tumors, carotid artery disease, stroke, and spinal disorders.

Temple Digestive Disease Center

The Temple Digestive Disease Center offers a full range of advanced treatment options for patients with a wide variety of problems related to the stomach, intestinal tract, biliary tract, gallbladder, bowel, liver and esophagus.

Patients have access to endoscopic, manometric and endosonographic treatment options—plus investigational diagnostic and therapeutic procedures available at few other institutions. Our surgical team specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques, which may allow for quicker recovery time, a shorter hospital stay and a reduced risk of complications.

Temple Burn Center

Temple University Hospital’s specialized and highly sophisticated burn care facility is the region’s only burn center at a Level I trauma center.

Verified by the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons, the Temple Burn Center offers a wide range of care—from high-level trauma care for severely burned patients to outpatient care for those with less severe burns.

Physicians at the Burn Center are using a new laser to revise burn patients’ scars that were previously untreatable—even scars that are decades old. The procedure is conducted in an outpatient setting with only topical anesthesia and can produce immediate results.

Temple Dermatology

Temple’s Department of Dermatology offers patients diagnosis and treatment for a wide variety of skin conditions from general dermatology, to autoimmune-related, to cosmetic, with specialized programs for itch, HIV, and ethnic skin, hair and women’s dermatology.

Bloodless Medicine

At Temple University Hospital, we understand that certain people cannot receive blood transfusions due to their religious beliefs or personal preferences. Our skilled urologists specialize in the medical and surgical management of all urologic disorders and diseases, with specialized experience in minimally invasive surgery for both benign and malignant tumors of the bladder, prostate and kidneys as well as reconstructive urology.

Abdominal Organ Transplant

Temple offers organ transplantation for kidney, liver and pancreas, as well as multi-organ transplant and living donor kidney transplant. The Temple Abdominal Organ Transplant Program also offers short- and long-term solutions for those who are not candidates for transplant. Temple’s transplant team has a record of surgical excellence and decades of experience, and is fully certified by the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) to perform kidney and liver transplantation.
