Getting Started

Step 1: Request an Appointment

Patients or caregivers should call 1-215-563-4733, fill out an online contact form or send an email to to begin the process of your medical history review and appointment scheduling.

Our business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Once your request is received, you will be contacted by a PIM patient services coordinator to help you through the process of submitting your medical records. Please have the following information available:

  • Full Name
  • Date of birth
  • Country of residence
  • Payer information and copy of insurance card, if applicable
  • All relevant medical records
  • Diagnosis and/or symptoms

Step 2: Send Your Medical Records in English

  • Current diagnosis
  • All relevant medical records
  • Imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT scan, ultrasound)
  • Biopsy and pathology reports, if applicable
  • Your contact information

Step 3: Financial Services

Once a specialist reviews and accepts your case, your patient services coordinator will provide you with a cost estimate and deposit information or confirm your insurance/embassy coverage. Financial services assistance will be available to assist you with understanding your cost estimate, providing payments, verifying insurance or embassy coverage and reconciling your final bill.

Step 4: Appointment Confirmation

Once a deposit has been received or payer information has been confirmed, your patient services coordinator will send you a letter confirming your appointment with the name of your doctor, the date, time and location of your appointment and any other important information you need before traveling.

Step 5: Prepare Your Visa Requirements

Once your appointment has been confirmed, your confirmation letter can be used to assist in completing your visa application.

Step 6: Make Your Travel Arrangements

After your appointment has been confirmed, your PIM patient services coordinator will assist you with accommodation needs related to your visit.
