Kirk W. Dabney, MD, is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and a provisional staff member in orthopedic surgery at the Medical Center of Delaware. Dr. Dabney also serves as Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University and completed his residency in orthopedics at Howard University in Washington, D.C. He completed pediatric orthopedic research and clinical fellowships at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Dr. Dabney is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. His clinical interests include cerebral palsy, scoliosis, neuromuscular scoliosis, and orthopedic problems related to hematologic disorders.
Jeffrey W. Campbell, MD, is Chief, Division of Neurosurgery at the duPont Hospital for Children. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Campbell completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and served a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Boston Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining Nemours, Dr. Campbell was Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the American Board of Pediatric Neurological Surgeons.
Stephen P. Dunn, MD, is Chief, Division of General Surgery and Chief, Division of Solid Organ Transplantation at duPont Hospital for Children. He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and trained in general surgery at the same institution. He completed a pediatric surgery fellowship at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia in 1987 and remained on staff there until 2000. His clinical interests are liver and biliary surgery. Dr. Dunn has extensive experience in pediatric renal and liver transplantation.
T. Ernesto Figueroa, MD, Chief, Division of Urology, is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, where he also completed his residency in Urology. He served his fellowship in pediatric Urology at Children's Hospital of Michigan. He is certified by the American Board of Urology. His clinical interests are: neurogenic bladder, undescended testes, hypospadias, congenital genital anomalies, vesicoureteral reflux, and urinary tract infections and voiding disorders in childhood. Dr. Figueroa also serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at Thomas Jefferson University.
Christopher N. Frantz, MD, Chief, Division of Hematology/Oncology, is a graduate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Frantz served his clinical and research fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the Children’s Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Frantz specializes in leukemia, neuroblastoma and general hematology.
E. Anders Kolb, MD, Director, Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Program, is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist at duPont Hospital for Children. He is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency in pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA and served his fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology and molecular pharmacology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY, where he was Chief Fellow. Dr. Kolb is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology. He specializes in blood and bone marrow transplant and leukemia.
William G. Mackenzie, MD, Chairman, Department of Orthopedic Surgery, is a pediatric orthopedic
surgeon at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and the Nemours Children’s
Clinic Newtown Square. Dr. Mackenzie serves as Assistant Professor of Orthopedic
Surgery at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, the Chairman
of the Medical Advisory Board for Little People of America, Inc., and is the Medical
Director of the Dwarf Athletic Association of America. He is a graduate of the University
of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and completed his residency program at the
same institution. He completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the
Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Dr. Mackenzie is certified by the American
Board of Orthopedic Surgery and his clinical interests include skeletal dysplasia,
limb length discrepancy, limb alignment, and muscle diseases.
Freeman Miller, MD, is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, the Medical Center of Delaware, and Thomas Jefferson University. He also serves as Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and as both Associate Research Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Physical Education at the University of Delaware. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed his surgical training at the University of Colorado Medical Center. Dr. Miller completed his residency in orthopedics at the University of Virginia Medical Center and a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Ontario, Canada. Joseph A. Napoli, MD, DDS, is Chief, Pediatric Plastic Surgery at duPont Hospital for Children. He is a graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He completed four residency programs, General Dentistry, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, NY, and General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in NH. Dr. Napoli received his fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. He is Board Certified in Plastic Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and Plastic Surgery.
Christian Pizarro, MD, is Chief, Division of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery and Director of the Nemours Cardiac Center, located at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Dr. Pizarro is a graduate of the University of Chile School of Medicine in Santiago, Chile. He served a residency at Pennsylvania Hospital – Philadelphia and complete fellowships in Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street in London and Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Pizarro is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. His clinical interests include neonatal cardiac surgery; heart transplantation; tracheal reconstruction surgery and the surgical management of single ventricle patients.
Wolfgang A. K. Radtke, MD, Director, Diagnostic and Interventional Catheterization Lab, is an interventional cardiologist at the Nemours Cardiac Center. He is a graduate of Kiel University Medical School in Germany. Dr. Radtke completed his residency and fellowship in pediatrics at Kiel University Children’s Hospital. He also served a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital in Boston. Prior to joining Nemours, Dr. Radtke practiced at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh where he was Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine.
